The Canterbury Tales

Geoffrey Chaucer, 1475

Collection of stories about a group
of people in a pilgrimage to Canterbury.
There are about forty people in the group
and the author was supposed to write
a story for each one, but luckily
for us he died after he managed to write
only for six of them.

Literature professor frustration:
"They asked me if I could rewrite the
the book in a text message format !?!".
