The Starry Night

Vincent van Gogh, 1889

While painting this picture Van Gogh
suffered from syphilis explaining the
"hazy" patterns. A bad eyesight explaining
the yellow halo around the objects and
from unstable mental state explaining
why he tried to kill Gauguin. But a reason for
adding his hair to the left side of the picture is
still considered unknown.
